Map data

Location data: © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database Licence.
Places data (Overture Maps): some place names, positions and categories come from Overture Maps Foundation data, which is made available under open licences by its sources (including Meta, Microsoft and Foursquare). The credits for each source are listed on Overture's attribution page.
Places data (Nagano Prefecture): lists of licensed lodgings and food businesses come from Nagano Prefecture open data, used under CC BY 4.0. Positions worked out from their addresses use the address search of the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan.
Licence for the place data files: the place data files (assets/poi-*.js) combine OpenStreetMap, Overture Maps and Nagano Prefecture open data. They are made available under the Open Database Licence (ODbL) 1.0. You may copy and reuse them with attribution, and any database you build from them must be shared under the same licence. The files are served from this site, for example powder.zone/assets/poi-hakuba.js.
How the map data is made: where places, lifts, runs and roads come from and how we confirm them is explained on How our map data is made.
